Our standard HiFi stands consist of 4 shelves with user determined column lengths. Our standard column lengths are 220 and 170mm.
Our shelves are 630 x 480mm and 32mm thick. The space between the columns are 480mm and can accommodate 99% of HiFi equipment on the market.
All HiFi stands are terminated with height adjustable(especially important for turntables) lockable stainless steel spikes.
There are three different trim levels determined by the finish of the shelves:
Standard
The shelves are constructed out of 32mm chipboard veneered on all sides including the edges. This gives the shelves a very square look since we are not able to router(round over) the edges. The spray painted finish is exactly the same five coats as applied to the top of the range 'Audiophile' stand.
Premium
The shelves are constructed out of 32mm MDF and edged with solid wood before being veneered top and bottom. The edges are routered (rounded over) giving a very pleasing well finished look to the shelves. This shelf finish looks exactly the same as the top of the range Audiophile stand but without the extra expense. Five coats of quality lacquer is also applied by spray gun.
Audiophile
Our top of the range stand will look exactly the same as our premium stand although the internal construction is totally different utilising our Deadwood construction (only visible through the holes drilled for the columns). The edges are also rounded over and then finished of with five coats of clear satin lacquer.
Custom dimensions and extra shelves are also options that can be incorporated for a completely custom design.
