Custom cabinet
A custom cabinet we just finished for a customer can be seen here. The client did not want any handles on the cabinet so we installed a push catch that pushes the door out exactly 22mm (thickness of the door) revealing the groove cut into the side of the door.
Non standard thickness boards were used for the doors and the uprights to give the cabinet a much cleaner and solid appearance.
What can not be seen is the 6 castors the cabinet rests on making movement of the cabinet very easy. The 10mm gap between kickpanel and floor is barely vissible.
Custom pieces of furniture like these may cost a bit more, but its a small price to pay for a custom hand built heirloom.
